Sankeien is the beautiful Japanese garden made by the wealthy businessman named Sankei Hara who succeeded in trading raw silk in the Meiji and Taisho period.
There are 3 gardens including his private gardens and 17 historical buildings which were moved from Kyoto and Kamakura in the 175,000Square meters area.
The landscape in each season is so beautiful and worth viewing. The landscape of red colored autumn foliage is so beautiful and impressive.

My recommended building is an old house of a farmer named yanohara’s  house which is designated as an important cultural property.
It was built around 270 years ago. You can see what the old Japanese rural farmer’s house is like and you can imagine the life of them.
