“Super Sento”, the superior stress releaver for Japanese

Super Sento

Sento was first used as a public bath for those without access to a bathroom at home. The only intention is to take a bath.

Sento have decreased as bathrooms have become more common in houses. But recently, a huge complex of public baths called The Super Sento has gained popularity. Super Sento is similar to SPA of other countries. It offers many different baths, including ones that use an electric current to pass through the body, ones that use medicinal herbs or minerals, open-air baths and saunas.

It also has additional amenities like a restaurant, a nap area, and massage rooms.

In contrast to public baths in other nations, you cannot wear swimming suits here.
While many foreigners may be apprehensive to enter without swimsuits, many Japanese enjoy visiting Super Sento as a tranquil setting or stress reliever.
Please don’t worry. Of Course bathrooms in Sento are separated
for men and women.

There are some rules to enjoy Sento.
First of all, the person who has a tattoo on their body can’t enter  Sento.
Because tattoos are generally accepted as negative due to the image of Japanese mobsters.
If you have a tattoo on your body, you should cover it by adhesive plaster to enter Sento.
Everyone takes their own towel for washing their body in the bath room but you can’t soak it in hot water in the bathtub in order to keep
the water clean.

If you follow the rules.
It fits perfectly for tourists looking for a realistic unique ambiance of daily Japanese culture.
